Who are Sauti Sol?

Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano, and Savara Mudigi founded the Kenyan afro-pop band Sauti Sol in Nairobi, Kenya in 2005. Polycarp Otieno, a guitarist, joined the group before they changed their name to Sauti.Mwanzo, Sauti Sol's debut studio album, was released on November 1, 2008, to critical acclaim. Sol Filosofia, their second studio album, was released on February 25, 2011, and received numerous accolades and nominations. The band collaborated with South African rapper and record producer Spoek Mathambo to release a self-titled extended play on June 18, 2012.

Savara Mudigi is a producer, vocalist, percussionist, and drummer. His versatility in the band has helped them create their imprint label, Sauti Sol Entertainment, both on the road and in the studio.

Willis Austin Chimano

Chimano is currently involved as a guitarist and producer. Willis' musical role in the band is noticeable as he sings in a melodious baritone voice
